Yuval Weinberg
Concert Conductor

 

Yuval is the Conductor and Music Director of the Broadcasting Authority Ensemble in Stuttgart and the European Youth Choir, Eurochoir. He serves as the chief guest conductor of the Norwegian Soloist Choir.

 

Yuval began his musical career as a singer in the Li-Ron Choir in Herzliya. He then studied orchestra conducting at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music in Tel Aviv and choir conducting at the Hanns Eisler High School in Berlin and the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo.
 

Yuval has won a number of international awards, including best conductor at a choir competition in Marktoberdorf, Germany (2017), the Gary Bertini Scholarship for 2015-2016, and first prize in an international choir conducting competition in Wroclaw, Poland (2014). In recent years he has led projects as a guest conductor with the Swedish Radio Choir, the Munich Chamber Orchestra, the RIAS Chamber Choir, the MDR Radio Choir, the Bach-Collegium Berlin, and the Resonance Choir in Istanbul, and he holds a permanent invitation to conduct the Bavarian Radio Choir. Until 2018, he served as the conductor of Norway's National Youth Choir and the "Nova" Chamber Choir.
